pustoninis spausdinimas statusas T sritis informatika apibrėžtis Įvairaus ↑pilkumo tonų išgavimas naudojant tik juodus ir baltus taškus. Beveik visuose spausdintuvuose vaizdas sudaromas vien iš juodų ir baltų taškų. Įvairūs pilkumo tonai gaunami tolygiai išretinant juodus taškus baltame fone arba keičiant tolygiai išdėstytų taškų dydį. Esant ganėtinai didelei ↑skiriamajai gebai atskiri taškai nepastebimi ir gaunamas tam tikro pilkumo įspūdis. Tačiau didėjant pustonių skaičiui, mažėja reali spausdintuvo skiriamoji geba, nes maži taškai susijungia į didelius. Pavyzdžiui, jeigu reikia gauti 64 pustonius, tai vienam pilkam taškui nupiešti reikės 8×8 juodų taškų.
